Breakfast

Alasdair and Pauline provide a varied breakfast menu ranging from a full hearty Scottish breakfast to something lighter eg. Scambled egg & smoked salmon or fresh fruit and yoghurt. We like to use the best local produce and enjoy making our own jams.

Packed lunches and evening meals are also available on request.  Late supper times can be catered for.  

Guests arriving during the day will be greeted with either morning coffee and homemade shortbread or afternoon tea with homemade scones and jam.

Breakfast Menu

Fresh coffee, fresh fruit juices, a choice of cereals, grapefruit segments and fresh fruit and Yoghurt are served buffet style.

Pots of tea are made on request, please ask about the different types of tea available.

Choose from the following :-

Continental Breakfast (Warm croissants or bagels and a selection of Ham, cheese, jams, marmalade and honey)

Or

Full Scottish Breakfast (Choice of egg, bacon, local butchers sausage, haggis, Stornoway black pudding, mushrooms, tomatoes, potato scone, hash brown and fried bread)

The full breakfast is not for the faint hearted, so you can choose just the items that you would like.

Local Free range eggs either
Fried, Boiled (to your timing).
Lightly poached or scrambled.

Or one of our specialities

World famous Craster Kippers.
Craster Smoked haddock and eggs lightly poached.
Hot smoked Scottish salmon with scrambled eggs.
Smoked Scottish salmon with cream cheese on a bagel.
Haggis in a mustard and cream sauce.
Stornoway Black pudding with a hot raspberry coulis.

Breakfast is served from 8.00am-9.00am but earlier/later times can be happily arranged.
